About me

I was born on August 1st, 2001 in New Orleans Louisiana, where I grew up alongside an older sister, two dogs and a cat. We had a respectable backyard with a trampoline and a tire swing, which consumed many afternoons, but it was inside, underneath my bed where I kept my own personal playground. A huge box, thousands of Lego bricks, and infinite potential for something amazing to be created. I built tons of scenes which I would bring to life with my imagination, but I always wished I could bring them to life for real.

This is when I discovered stop-motion videos on YouTube, and after a typical amount of begging, I received my first stop motion camera on my birthday. From that moment on, I was a filmmaker. Now, is a 10-second, 1 frame-per-second stop-motion video starring out of focus Lego people really a film? Perhaps not, but they told a story of some sort. It was the storytelling that attracted me to filmmaking, and it's what I love most about the medium to this day. I love a great story, and I aim to tell stories that inspire, but above all, entertain.

In high school we were given the option to join one of many various "concentrations" such as Visual Art, Dance, Theater, Stagecraft, etc... but I chose Media Arts, where we spent the next 4 years studying mediums like photography, graphic design, and film. After graduating in 2020, I attended Loyola University of New Orleans, majoring in Digital Filmmaking. Here I worked on many fun projects, learned so much, and met many incredible people who would become my very close friends.

After graduating magna cum-laude in 2024, I was lucky enough to land a job at a local animation studio called Swaybox Studios, which is debuting a new style of puppetry animation in their upcoming DC film, Dynamic Duo. I started out doing grunt work in a warehouse, but quickly transitioned into the editorial department as an assistant editor and studio photographer. Working alongside that team is an experience I will forever be grateful for, and I learned more there than any amount of college could teach. I have since parted from Swaybox, searching for my place in the industry.

What inspires me?

My inspiration comes from the little things in life. A ray of sunshine coming through the window, a leaf swaying in the wind, a conversation with someone who shares their passion. I love observing the world around me and discovering how people and the things they create are connected.
